Mazurek
Mazurki were baked in various ways. With orange, poppy, with wine, apples – even from wholemeal bread! Polish women used to treat it as a competition. Who will make it more original, who will decorate it more beautifully. I focused on the classic of mazurki – my favorite – made of buttery thin dough, with a layer of black currant jam and lots of dulce de leche.
